Type As Image Poster

Creating something with an emphasis as type as image challenged me to effectively convey information about the film, Lucy while incorporating relevant imagery in creative ways while not allowing it to overshadow the text or dominate the design. The use of repeated colored lines that differ in size paired with text in similar sizes and colors allows me to create a glitchy digital tone for the poster. Since the character in the film is gaining full capacity to her brain functions, her brain experiences a system overload of information. I designed my poster to best represent what she was experiencing and how it might feel for the audience to encounter.
